Table-Setting Rules
Forks go to the left of the plate.
Knives and soup spoon go to the right.
Knife blades face the plate.
Dessert fork and spoon go over the dinner plate (or it can be set before dessert); The fork goes over the plate, and the spoon over the fork.
The biggest forks and knives go next to the plate and usually get smaller as they move away from the plate.
The bread plate goes on the left over the forks.
Glasses go on the right, over the knives; Water glass goes straight over the largest knife and remaining glasses are set to its right.
EVERYTHING is lined up.
